Main Street Spark Foundation, Inc. ("Main Street Spark," "we," "us") runs mainstreetspark.org. This page explains what we collect through the site and what we do with it. The short version: we only collect what you choose to send us, we use it to reply to you, and we don't sell it.
What we collect
When you use our contact form, we receive the details you type in: your name, your email address, your town or organization if you add one, the topic you pick, and your message.
Like almost every website, our hosting provider also keeps basic technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't run tracking or analytics scripts on this site.
How we use it
- To read and answer your message.
- To follow up about the thing you asked about, such as a town partnership, a sponsorship, volunteering, or one of our events.
- To keep a simple record of who we've talked with.
We won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We don't sell, rent, or trade your information. Form messages are processed by our website host, Netlify, and delivered to us by email. Those providers handle the data only to deliver that service. We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as they're useful for the conversation or our records, and delete them when they're not.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete what you've sent us. Just send a note through the contact form and tell us what you'd like.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
